Positive Supports Team
Each of our highly-experienced specialists are trained in person-centered practices, and hold credentials and licenses in their respective fields. Our team consists of a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and a certified Person Centered Planner.

Sue Saman
Empowerment Coach
Sue is a certified Person Centered Planner and Positive Behavior Support Facilitator. Sue has worked in the human services field for more than 20 years, including experience in supporting people in crisis situations, and those with Mental and Behavioral Health challenges. Sue is passionate about helping others discover their dreams and committed to the people she supports. Sue provides coaching and support to teams to make positive changes in the lives of people we support.

Nick Vasquez
MA, LMFT
Nick is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT.) He works with people and families to create a safe and welcoming non-judgmental space. Nick has clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. Nick is passionate about helping people discover what is important to them and what they want for their future, as well as coaching caregivers to help best support others in a person-centered manner.

Heather Wilford
MS, BCBA, LBA
Heather is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with 10 years of experience providing behavior analytic support across a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and clinics. With a focus on person-centered positive behavior supports, Heather approaches each circumstance with a deep commitment to understanding and addressing the underlying causes of behavior. She believes that all behavior is a form of communication, and strives to listen to, interpret, and respond to those signals in a way that promotes meaningful change. Heather is passionate about collaborating with children, families, teams, and organizations to develop individualized supports that enhance quality of life. Her approach emphasizes learning from one another, empowering people and their support systems to create lasting, positive outcomes. Whether working directly with people or guiding teams, Heather’s goal is always to foster an environment of growth, understanding, and shared success.

Nikki Bergstresser
MA, LADC
Nikki is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor, and a clinical trainee on the licensed professional clinical counselor track. She has a degree in co-occurring disorders from Adler Graduate School and has a license to practice alcohol and drug counseling in the state of Minnesota. Nikki has worked in human services for over twenty years and has worked with many different populations in a variety environments. She enjoys helping others and walking side by side with the people she serves as they build on their strengths and become more independent. Nikki meets people where they are at and provides them with the encouragement needed to reach their goals.
